Can sub-task status be changed to "skipped" based on a conditional value

Can sub-task status be changed to "skipped" based on a conditional value

2008.3 Release:  Is it possible to set the status of few sub-tasks to skipped based on a certain input value on the form?

e.g.  I have 3 sub-tasks that are ongoing concurrently.  Based on the action of the performer in say for example, sub-task # 2, I would like sub-tasks # 1 and # 3's status be changed to skipped so that the parent task is completed and the service flows through the next step.

Re: Can sub-task status be changed to "skipped" based on a condi

Yes  - this is standard functionality in the software. You will need to  write a conditional expression using the syntax:  Data.<DictionaryName>.<FieldName>

For  details on writing expressions please refer to either the online help in  ServiceDesigner or the "Conditions" section in the Service Design Guide  available here.
