CPO Add VM Hard Disk activity is failing to add disk
I am using to “Add VM Hard Disk” to add a disk VM. I am specifying that the disk be added to Virtual Device Node SCSI 1:0 on a given VM, i.e. SCSI controller 1 and LUN 0. The activity fails because the SCSI controller is not found. In fact the controller is not attached to any disk yet. That is exactly what I was trying to achieve with this activity in CPO, to attach the SCSI controller and add the disk on the controller 1 and LUN 0 as specified in the activity’s input parameter. I can do it manually through VMWare Client without any issues. Once the controller is attached to a disk, the activity works fine. I can then add disk on any Virtual Device Node SCSI 1:1 or SCSI 1:2. Is there a way to automate this using CPO activity without having to add a disk manually using VMware Client? Any suggestion will be greatly appreciated
