How do I Integrate RequestCenter with Microsoft Outlook?

The My Calendar feature in ServiceManager tracks all ongoing tasks assigned to you that are not late. From My Calendar, you can export task to Microsoft Outlook. The task(s) are exported as iCalendar files. Once exported, you can open, add information, and save the appointment to your Outlook Calendar.

To view your assigned tasks using My Calendar, click My Calendar on the navigation bar.

To export tasks to Microsoft Outlook:

  1. Under My Calendar, click the radio button next to the task(s) you wish to export to Outlook.
  2. Click Export To Outlook.
    A File Download box displays.
  3. Click Open to view the task as a Outlook Appointment.
    The appointment displays the calculated start and end dates and times for the task.
  4. Add any necessary information to the appointment.
  5. Click Save and Close to save the appointment to your Outlook Calendar.

Once you have clicked the Export to Outlook button for a task, the task is removed from the My Calendar list and is no longer available.
