Namespace reference for the logged in person

We would like to create a service with a URL in the presentation section.  In that URL, we would like to pass the logged in person's RequestCenter login name as a parameter.  For exmaple, if we have a person logged into RC with the ID "1234", we would like to construct a URL that be http://externalapplication.com?ID=1234.  We think that the URL would be something like http://externalapplication.com?ID=#loggedinperson.id#

Would that be possible?

Namespace reference for the logged in person

Hi Tim,

We've had the same constraint on our presentation tab (manifesting itself when someone tries to order on behalf of someone, but then adds a service from the Presentation tab links).  Our approach was going to be to check where the Order on Behalf string was in the URL and actually hide the presentation tab as we couldn't think of a way to pick it up!  I'm interested in anyone's success here.

Thanks,

Ant

You  might be able to use Javascript to look at the links and determine  which one goes to the profile page.  That link contains the id in the  format: Profile

The id piece is "id=5".
