Permission issue

We deployed some services to Prod today. The services were set to be orderable by anyone. Once the decission was made not to release them I changed the permissions to ITSC Prod Support OU and have removed anyone. Services remained visible to everyone on the systems, not just ITSC and admins ...

Question: Are the permissions real time or are they cached and require RequestCenter (JVM) restart?

Permission issue

Permissions are real-time, so there should be no delay. A RequestCenter restart should not be required. One item to check here is the interaction of service-level permissions and service-group-level permissions. Ordering permissions set at the service level cannot be less restrictive than those set at the service group level.
