How should the connect string on the TEO Target look when connecting to Oracle RAC DB. Here is a sample output of tnsping on a RAC DB:
(DESCRIPTION=(ADDRESS_LIST=(LOAD_BALANCE=ON)(FAILOVER=ON)(ADDRESS=(PROTOCOL=TCP)(HOST=host1.cisco.com)(PORT=1524))(ADDRESS=(PROTOCOL=TCP)(HOST=host2.cisco.com)(PORT=1524)))(CONNECT_DATA=(SERVICE_NAME=MYDB.cisco.com)(SERVER=DEDICATED)))
Appreciate your time and response.

TEO 2.2 does not support Oracle RAC DBs as a target. Only supported as TEOProcess DB. There is an enhancement request currently open with development to allow for Oracle RAC DBs to be setup as a target.

Thanks for the update. Would you be able to tell the version that the feature will be supported? Timeline for the release of that version would help as well.

the bug is CSCty92888. It is currently on the 2.4 schedule with the 2.4 release being in December, although it could be later. Depending on your use case and need, if you need this sooner/etc, You need to open a TAC support case, mention this bug and include your use-case, need, whether it is for a customer deployment, etc and any additional information. This can then be taken to the core TEO team for prioritization.
