TEO Target ( How to use web target )

You can use a IP address if you want. The web target is meant to be like a target URL or WSDL. So an example could be www.google.com or http://localhost:61527/WS/

You can then configure a runtime user if you need to login to the webpage or no runtime user if you just want to get the webpage.

You can then run web execute (web services) activities or run http requests (web gets) and do thinks like web services execution or web scraping, etc

If that does not help, explain your use case more.

well when I go to http:// IP> i see IIS pop-up, when I go to that same IP with port 8088, there is no website/webpage there. So you have not set something up right on the website side, it has nothing to do with TEO. Whatever webpage/ip you put in your web request, you must be able to get to the webpage from the TEO server to be of any value.
