Using a stored procedure with dictionary field in Data Retrieval Rule

Consider this situation:

I'm trying to create an active form rule.
There is a stored procedure in the database that I want to execute.
The parameters passed should come from a custom dictionary.

Problem:

The SQL parser acts up when I use a dictionary. It works well when I write the parameters in quotes.

This works great -

EXEC getMyDesiredData 'param1', 'param2'

However this isn't working -

EXEC getMyDesiredData '#myDictionary.param1#', '#myDictionary.param2#'

or

EXEC getMyDesiredData #myDictionary.param1#, #myDictionary.param2#

Can someone explain me the rules the SQL parser is encorcing and how I can make this work ?

Thanks,
Tim

I am not sure how it is

I am not sure how it is possible. Recently, I have raised a case with Cisco tech support and they have confirmed that accessing stored procedure from CPSC is not possible.

But, you can call a function from CPSC where you can call / execute the SP from the function. It is an alternate way. Give a try of calling a function by passing the field values as arguements.

Thanks,

Guna
