ASA5540 as a DNS Proxy?

Is it possible for an ASA5540 to do lookup DNS requests for say a PC if the PC has its DNS entries set to the ASA interface IP?

Re: ASA5540 as a DNS Proxy?

ASA cannot be used as DNS/caching DNS, or to do nslookup on behalf of clients.

Based on its firewalling functions, it can control (permit/deny) DNS-related traffic in and out of the networks located on its secure and non-secure interfaces.
