Can the IPS module in ASA be used to scan 2 interfaces?

I am trying to figure out if/how to configure the ASA-SSM-20 to scan the backplane and management/monitor interface (trying to save money and not buy dedicated IPS/IDS for internal net). I am running IPS v7.0(8)E4 with ASDM v6.4. I would like to use the management port to send spanned traffic from my Nexus 5548.
