CSM Client over VPN

When I try to run the CSM Client from my laptop over a vpn the client always hangs when it says synchronzing with DCR. I believe it might be an MTU issue but can not test at the moment. Has anyone had trouble with this?

Same issue has been found in 3.1.x, check bug-id:CSCeb55530 or check the link
