IDS Events have stopped

I am running a 4215 IDS unit and have had it up for a week just monitoring what is going through - I have 2 interfaces one inside the firewall and one on our wan gateway - I am using IEV to monitor events with realtime dashboard up until today events were coming through at a steady rate.. but have now just stopped - both monitoring interfaces still have activity on them - I have been turning on signatures steadily and have just upgraded to 4.1(5)189

What can I check to make sure this box is working?

As an addition to this when I ssh to the box and do a show interfaces I get this message

Error: The application is processing configuration, please try again later.?

Working now - looks like the box was just busy..
