I read that all the configuration wiped out after doing the system reimage on IDS device. In those cases, shall we use the "Copy url current-config" (if I took backup before reimaging) or I need to configure manually again.
And I understood that, "Current - Cofig" is nothing but "Running-config" and "backup-config" is "start-up cofig". Please correct me if I'm wrong.
And the command which we need to use for saving the configuration before rebooting is "Copy current backup". right?

IPS software is not same as IOS. We do not have a startup-config in IPS software like we do in IOS.
To backup the configuration, one only needs to backup current-config.
For the procedure, please check my doc which explains this in detail.
