Incorrect time is comming in IPS 4260

Hi All,

I am having the issue with my IPS 4260.Whereas the IPS system time is correct, and I have set a UTC offset of 330 min (being in the GMT +5.30 hrs time zone.), I am still seeing the event(log attached) time on the event(monitoring--event-event view)  in  UTC, and not the system time. It creat the problemto find the actual local time when event occcurred. The system clock on the IPS shows correct local time

Sensor# sh clock
.09:30:41 GMT+05:30 Fri Aug 06 2010

Any suggestions how to resolve the same?

Thanks in advance

Regards,

Saurabh

Hi,

I am not sure if I understand the question right. Please correct me if I am wrong. You would like to see the actual local time the event occurred and not the time in UTC. The third column - Sensor Local time indicates the actual local time on the sensor. Is this what you are looking for?  Is this different from the time that shows up via CLI?

Thanks.
