IPS-4240-K9 License Part number

Good day. I want to know about IPS license and updates part number. We have delivered the box IPS 4240 K9 to customer, yet , we do not have the license and updates facility. We opened up the TAC SR: 613250439 case and it was suggested that we need to place order of Software Contract for IPS. Please let me know about it. It is crucial and a bit urgent, since I am in production phase of the project.

Hi Ashwin,

I will not help you with Part Number (probably you should look into price-list .. there are all Part numbers), but just take project move, you can order "trial" license for IPS appliance. You should have account on Cisco page and go to https://tools.cisco.com/SWIFT/Licensing/PrivateRegistrationServlet?FormId=1016 . There you can put part nember of IPS appliance and its serian number and you can get valid license for limited time (I think 3 month). It will give you possibility move with project and you have time order full valid license.
