IPS Module (NME-IPS-K9) on ISR Router CPU High

Hi,

We have IPS module (NME-IPS-K9) on 3845 ISR router. All the time we see out of two CPUs on it, one CPU is always 100%. Can someone advise it this is normal behavior or is it due to some configuration/software error?.

This situation is same before and after upgrade of IPS module.

CPU 100% on the NME-IPS module is normal. It will always show 100%. CPU on IPS is not related to the inspection load.

To check if the IPS module is overloaded, please check the "Inspection Load" speedometer.
