I'm a TAC Engineer preparing for CCIE, although I might take CCSP exams, but I don't have any knowledge about IDS/IPS. Could somebody please tell me what is a good resource for knowledge on IDS/IPS from the CCIE exam point of view?
I like the CCIE Self-Study: CCIE Security Exam Certification Guide, Second Edition by Henry Benjamin. I have found it to be pretty useful for a lot of topics. There are a few other IPS books, but this one seems to cover what you need for the exams.
