Update Signature

Dear All, I Miss one or more signature updates when i'll update the signature, is it ok to skip the older one and directly update the newest, for example i miss 3 signature updates: s233,s234, s235, is it ok to update s235 directly or it have to update one by one

Hi,

If I am not mistaken, you can upgrade it as those are only minor signature upgrade.

Furthermore, S232/235 release notes only mentioned that your IPS need minimum version of 5.0(6) to load sigupdate of S227 or later.

yes, my version of IPS is more than the minimum version(5.0(6).right now if i miss more than one signature, i update the signature one by one. it's tiring if i miss 5 or 10 signatures...can we "jump" to update the newest only ?

Hi .. if we are talking about signatures only .. then yes you can update directly to the latest one as they are cummulative.
