VMS Security Monitor not reporting in almost every 24 hours!

I'm running VMS 2.3 with PIX firwalls and IDS's reporting events on it whereby they are configured and managed from independent and dedicated servers which run Windows 2000 servers.

My problem is that in almost every 24 hours Security Monitor doesn't show any events which I always launch from event viewer. Security monitor just becomes blank.

I always reset CISCO Works daemon services from the reporting server.

I just want know of a way of solving this problem whereby I can atleast have about 99.98% availabilty of events without reseting services now and then.

This may also be due to no events/alarms in that database that satisfies your report filter/conditions. Hence even though you are receiving events they most are not relevent for the reports that you have configured.
