We have a Directory number configured as secondary DN on 5 phones used as a hotline. Last week we had an issue with that number and all the calls internal/external destined to that number were declined with busy tone after one ring
We have distributed cluser of 4 CUCMs with H323 gateways on remote site
Phoned Model : 7962
When checked the CDR reports, All the calls which failed during the time are showing are Call Clearing Code 16 which is normal termination. However, all the failed calls were destined to one specific. Now i am suspecting that it could be due to some issue with that phone as it looks like that phone was receiving the calls before anyone else could attend it on other phones and then decline it.
The other thing i can think of is someone using that DN to dial out but can not find anything which reflects the same in CDR.
The issue was resolved going into the DN and then clicking on Apply Config. - does not make sense at all
Any help would be appreciated.
