Convert SCCP to MGCP FAX on VG2XX Gateways

I have clients using SCCP on their VG248 and VG224 devices. Now they want to use provider SIP trunk which does not support NSE switchover for faxes. Is there a way to convert those gateway protocols from SCCP to MGCP easily on UCM 8.6?

Sure it's possible - you can even have both of them on same gateway for controlling so you can slowly transition from one to another. More on MGCP config for VG2xx cisco.com...

Hi

unfortunately I do not have luxury of time (downtime) for making changes line by line. I am hoping there is more automatic tool/ way to change that protocol. Say one/ few steps to convert the VG248 SCCP to MGCP without changing each of port settings.

Would this be available on UCM system?
