Hi

On a CCM 4.2 I see the following error message in the application log:

Computer: HVF102

Source: Cisco CTIManager

Category: None

Type: Error

Event ID: 3

Description: Error: kCtiDeviceOpenFailure - Device Open failed

CTI Connection Id: 32

Device Name: PMO_910531

UNKNOWN_PARAMTYPE:ReasonCode: 2362179747

App ID: Cisco CTIManager

Cluster ID: CCMCL1

Node ID: 10.230.45.1

CTI Application ID: CiscoTSP001-138.191.82.95

Process ID: 1440

Process Name: CtiHandler

Explanation: Application is unable to open the device

Recommended Action: Check the reason code and correct the problem..

PMO_910531 is the blind device within the PMO application of Snapware.

Everything is working fine so far. So what's up with this message?

Cheers

Peter

Is this the only error message you see in application log related with call manager?

Have you done an upgrade on this call manager?

Also, have you tried registering IPC?

Try restart of CTI Manager,

If it is possible, try device name of CTI RP, reset RP and then associate.

Check with passwordutils if all passwords in sync.

Hope this should work
