SRST and ESRST

I am working on new Cisco Voip implementation. I recently learned that the new SRTS mode can support up to 1500 users in failure mode.

The question I have is, if I have 2 routers, can I have some users get priority to register in case of failure to one SRST router, and everyone else will fight over the other router. I want to make sure my executives are happy.

Hi.

The first thing I can suggest, is to configure two Device Pool with two different SRST reference.

In this way IP Phones on Device Pool A would register on Router A and the others in RouterB.

With different Device Pools, you can also balance ip phones registration between CUCM in the cluster.
