Teaming on MGCP router GW

I'd like to configure the 2 Giga Ethernet ports on the MGCP GW as single  port (one ip address) since I want to connect that router to the 2 Core Switches at the  same time something like the teaming with the CUCM

Server NICs perform fail-over differently [more crudely] than network infrastructure. Your options are to either load balance with layer three routing protocols or use an EtherChannel interface.
