2801 SIP gateway problem - urgent please

Dear Folks,

I am a newbie to the IP telephony world. I have been tasked to configure a SIP trunk for cheap calls to international locations.

I am tackling it in 2 phases incoming and outgoing. This is kind of how the setup is, the reason for using the 2801 is because the SIP provider uses / in authentication and CUCM will not support it.

SIP Provider -------SIP trunk--------2801-------h323---CUCM-----Phones

I have read some docs and used the forum to configure the sip-ua and my sh sip-ua register shows as registered. But I am not able to get any succesfull calls. The Telephony team have configured the CUCM and have added the 2801 as a H323 gateway, now I am tasked for configuring the 2801.

I am thinking of these configs please advice will this work for an incoming call?

voice service voip

ip address trusted list

  ipv4 ISP address

  ipv4 ISP address

allow-connections h323 to sip

allow-connections sip to h323

allow-connections sip to sip

dial-peer voice 4 voip

description *** Any incoming Calls from SIP trunk***

session protocol sipv2

session target ipv4:local IP that connectd my2801 to internet

incoming called-number .

dtmf-relay rtp-nte

codec g711alaw

no vad

!

dial-peer voice 5 voip

description *** outbound call to CUCM****

destination-pattern 6128069....  !!! i think we will get a 11 digit number

session target ipv4:CUCM IP address

dtmf-relay h245-alphanumeric

Please advice!!

As indicated in the many same subject threads.
