i have the following question:
i want to connect 5 E1 PRI's on two 2821 voice gateways, i ordered:
two VWIC2-2MFT-E1 cards
one VWIC2-1MFT-E1 card
enough PVDM2 cards on both voice gateways
i will connect 3 E1's to one voice gateway and 2 E1's to the other voice gateway.
my question is what about voice gateways performance will be ... ok 2821 has 4 slots (can be used for VWIC) and has 3 slots for PVDM2's .... but how 2821 will perform ... is my design described above ok?
do i need to upgrade to a higher voice gateways (2851, 38xx)
is there a capacity tool that measures the performance for voice gateways to build a correct design for such cases?
