2901 CUE Hardware Requirements

I have a C2901-VSEC-CUBE/K9 router that would like to set up as an UC lab. I would like to run CUE for voicemail and AA. The only way I can run CUE is if I install a service module like the ISM-SRE-300-K9? I was wondering if I could run CUE with the Embedded Service Engine and internal router memory.

It does makes sense since I would need extra memory/disk space for the voice messages etc.

Thanks,

Carlos

You need one of the following modules:

SM-SRE-700-K9, SM-SRE-710-K9, SM-SRE-900-K9, SM-SRE-910-K9, ISM-SRE-300-K9 and NME-CUE with SM-SM-ADPTR

for 29XX routers per data sheet:

There is no way to run it without any of the above.

There is no hard disk in ISM-SRE-300-K9. Only 4-GB internal USB flash-memory module is there. If we require more space for voice mail should we go for SM-SRE-700-K9?? What actually 4-GB internal USB memory will keep in ISM-SRE-300-K9? CUE, AA, Voice mail all these possible to keep in 4-GB?

Hi Asif,

You can install only one application in SRE at a time.the applications which can be installed are Unity Express,WLC,WAAS,SRSV.

Please refer datasheet for supported applications

For more space, u go to Service Modules which use HDD of more capacity.ISM use Flash only

I think u should have opened new discussion.

regds,
