Hi,
I'm trying to regsiter Avaya 46XX series IP phone the CUCM 6.1(2), over SIP.
I do have SIP enabled image with me for Avaya.
Need advice,
1) Is this doable or possible to register Avaya IP phone as 3rd Party IP phone?
2) If answer is yes, then please do let me know as how to proceed.
Thanks!
Regards,
Kam

Hi,
CUCM 6.X series do support non cisco IP Phones to register with.
Check for License:
-----------------
-->Third-party SIP Device (Advanced-Video) --- 6 Units,Third-party SIP Device (Basic)--- 3 units
To configure:
-------------
Pl refer this Doc to configure.

Hi,
I was doing a POC on integration of DLink GVC 3000 with CUCM 7.X.
I haven't checked. But most non cisco models have a lot of non compatibility for the features provided with the CUCM.
As i didn't experiment this, we still need confirmations.
