6608-E1 CONFB with CUCM9.1

Hi,

We are trying to use the old (which is gold) 6509 with WS-X6608-E1 blade for conference bridge with CUCM9.1. But it would never register with the callmanager. The configuration with the CatOS and on CUCM seems very simple and done as below:

On 6509 CatOS:

set port voice interface  6/1 dhcp enable vlan 150

On CUCM9.1:

Conference Bridge has been added as "Cisco Conference Bridge Hardware".

6509 Version:

==========

Console> (enable) sh module
Mod Slot Ports Module-Type               Model               Sub Status
--- ---- ----- ------------------------- ------------------- --- --------
1   1    2     1000BaseX Supervisor      WS-X6K-SUP2-2GE     yes ok
15  1    1     Multilayer Switch Feature WS-F6K-MSFC2        no  ok

4   4    8     E1                        WS-X6608-E1         no  ok
6   6    8     E1                        WS-X6608-E1         no  ok

4   00-01-c9-d8-dd-1e to 00-01-c9-d8-dd-25 1.1    5.4(2)     8.6(4)
6   00-03-32-be-dd-2f to 00-03-32-be-dd-36 1.3    5.4(2)     8.6(4)

Following message keeps repeatedly appearing on the 6509 console for all the voice ports:

"2013 Sep 15 07:21:25 %SYS-4-MODHPRESET: Host process (860) 4/3 got reset asynchronously"

Any ideas?

Regards

Saif

Hi Saif,

Just a thought:

Can u check the MAC -address what u have configured in Cisco Call Manager undet conference bridge is  correct or not? You can run the command in 6509 chassis show port slot in which card is inserted.

regds,

aman

Hi,

Yes, MAC addresses have been thoroughly checked and verified.

Saif

Hi Saif,

I was just refering the DOC which points to MAC address issue.

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/tech/tk1077/technologies_tech_note09186a008045a3c0.shtml

Can u share the output of sh port and snapshot of what u have configured in call manager?

regds,

6509:

=====

Port     DHCP    MAC-Address       IP-Address      Subnet-Mask

-------- ------- ----------------- --------------- ---------------

6/8     enable  00-03-32-be-3c-36 10.1.100.51     255.255.255.0

Callmanager snapshot attached.

Hi Saif,

After u added in Call manager, did u reset?

I am also not able to find what exactly is the issue since config seems to be OK.How many such modules do u have in 6509 chassis?

Hi,

Running the tracy_start on one of the ports, gives following output. It seems that the CatOS is not able to parse the cnf.xml file and thats where its failing:

tracy_start 3 2
