6921 Ip Phone EM button missing

Hi,

I have an Ip telephony set up with CME 9.1.

I have enabled the EM on that and its working fine with 7945 and CIPC.

The issues is that the EM button is missing in 6921 button.The active load in 6921 is SCCP 9.3.1.3.

Please help to guide to resolve this issue.

Nithin,

Have you tried pessing the application key (looks like star just to top right of handset) you should see services and be able to select Ext Mob.

Yes i tried that also .I presed the application keys I found the options like 1)call history(2)Preference.(3)Phone information (4)Admin settings.....but EM option is missing.

I google it for this issue and found that need to degrade the Firmawre.Please refer the below url for that.

But my IP telephony setup is in CME.

.I tried that also but I cannot degarde that.

I am getting the following error..

I download the cmterm-69xx-sccp.9-2-2-6.zip file from cisco.

upload the FM in the flash. using tftp. and gave the commands,

tftp-server flash:BOOT69xx.0-0-0-14.zz.sgn

tftp-server flash:DSP69xx.0-0-0-11.zz.sgn

tftp-server flash:SCCP69xx.9-2-2-6.loads

tftp-server flashSCCP69xx.9-2-2-6.zz.sgn

Read this from the CME software compatability matrix

When configuring the load command:

In Cisco Unified CME 7.0(1) and later versions, use the complete filename including the file suffix when you configure the load command for phone firmware versions later than version 8-2-2 for all phone types except 69xx, 89xx, and 99xx phones

So you should NOT include the suffix in your load commands
