Hi ,
We are facing problem with Cisco IP phone 7911G which most of the times ,display screen goes blank and few buttons appear green or red.
Call manager version is 7.x and firmware is SCCP11.8-3-2S. We have also tried uploading new firmwware i.e 8.5 but nothing happens.Finally , we need to get the replacement from Cisco.
This is a normal behaviour observed in 7911 ip phones.

Is there any Field notice for such behaviour because it increases the RMA count for partner?

Is this just for one phone or a lot of them. If this is affecting a lot of phones i know with 7911 phones that when there is a lot of broadcast traffic these models would reboot. If its just one... looking at the symptoms i would perform a replacement.

Hi,
This problem occurs intermittent in 7911 IP phones since the display screen goes blank for the phone which was working perfectly.To restore it, we do factory reset but nothing happens.
We do keep on doing RMA since the customer has lot of phones.
