HI pros,

I am trying to get a 7912 Cisco IP working with an internal SIP server. Was able to upgrade the firmware which I done successfully.

I config all the parameters via the phone web portal. However, when the config try to register with the sip server, I got unauthorized.

"SIP/2.0 401 Unauthorized" is a password issue. The sip proxy is rejecting the call with the wrong username and password.

I really don't think that is a password issue, I triple checked the password and the username is the phone number of the phone.

Think it is something deeper than that.

Thanks for the answer though
