7915 Phone problem with 7962 on Call Manager 6.1.3

Hi,

We are using reception phone 7962 with the 2 added 7915 module phone. The issue is 7915 module is not working. We have upgraded the firmware 8.5.3 for 7962 and the firmware for 7915 1.0.4 but still no luck. Anybody has any idea how to resolve this issue? I appreciate your help.

Hi,

When you say it is not working what exactly is not working. Is it not booting up or are the lines not appearing etc.

Have you created a new phone button template and added to the device and profiles ?

The lines are not appearing and also when I go to create new phone button template I don't see any option for 7915 on the list.

Hello,

To get it working you have to go to Phone Configuration and in Expansion Module Information select the appropriate modules.

To create a phone button template:

- go to Phone Button Templates

- copy Standard 7962G SCCP, rename it and save it

- then according to the number of modules create the corresponding number of speed dials or lines.
