7921 - Slow Registration After Moving to New AP Group
I don't know if anyone has experienced this with the 7921 where it takes a long time to re-register after you move to a AP's that are in a different AP group. Perhaps this is more of a Wireless question. Still I wanted to put it here because everyone knows the phone. This client has two sites relatively close to each other, there is a WISM in the 6500 and the AP's in both locations are broadcasting the same SSID just they are in different AP groups so the phones get a different ip address in each location. There are realy just two 7921's, one per location and when they are in there location they work fine. Just when each one goes to the other location it takes a very long time to register. Is the 7921 still trying to reach the old AP's it knows about? Is the 7921 still holding onto it's old ip address? thanks
