My trouble is that the 7940/7960 sets time display will not change but all other sets on the system have. I have new CM 7.1 with the lasted firmware for the sets. I have checked the time zone configured and also the device pools have the correct information. What could be a posible problem.

You may collect "Cisco CallManager" logs and search for keyword "TimeDate". It'll tell you what timestamps CUCM was sending to 7940/7960 phones. If the time being sent was wrong, the fix is on CUCM other than 7940/7960.

What was the fix for this.. I'm having same issue. I have latest firmware , time zones fine.. I know the issue is in call manager, but I'm at a lose

Refer to cisco bug CSCsy25150. I have upgraded the CUCM and it has repaired my trouble.

I did not apply the patch. I upgraded the call manager. Refer to the field service notice.
