7940 Phone not finding it's tftp file even though it's there

I'm trying to update the .bin file on my 7940 ip phones but debugs show it just keeps looking for the file....

I have it configured like this:

And..

The phones DO get ip addresses when checking from the phone but when I do a show ephone it shows:

ephone-1[0] Mac:0017.E0F0.B868 TCP socket:[-1] activeLine:0 UNREGISTERED

mediaActive:0 offhook:0 ringing:0 reset:0 reset_sent:0 paging 0 debug:0 caps:0

Preferred Codec: g711ulaw

Please help!

You need this command:

tftp-server P00308000500.bin alias flash:/phone/7940-7960/P00308000500.bin

you can keep adding aliases for each of your files.

Move all firmware files to root directory on flash.

Remove all tftp-server commands.

Configure under telephony-service:

cnf-location flash:/

load 7960-40 P00308000500.loads

Note the .loads is specified for the new automatic mode.
