when ping 7940G -l 1500,7940G appears reset;how can fix it?
fyi: 7912G has not the problem.
Download the latest Device Pack for your version of CCM, and apply it as directed in the readme (i.e. to all servers in your cluster - starting with the Publisher, then TFTP, then other subs).
It's most likely a bug with the phone firmware.
Or stop pinging it :-)
