I have a few users that sometimes when they are on calls with someone on our department remote sites they say they cannont hear the other user clearly like static but the user on the other said they can hear them clear. This happenend on and off. Those phones are 7941 and we have call manager version 8.0.3.
Verify that the codec the remote sites are using is g729r8 - if they are using g729br8 then you can run into this issue especially if the call is placed on hold then resumed or transferred to another party the static can grow.
