7941G firmware upgarde mistake

OK I've been a fool!

I normally only look after data, so I bought a 7941G SIP 8.0(2) phone.

Just wanted to get a feel for its deployment so don't have aCall Manager.

I mistakenly put cmterm-7941_7961-sip.8-0-4SR3.zip o the TFTP server.

So now the TFTP logs show its not looking for the SIP files.

Is there a way of resetting it without CM

Are you trying to upgrade the firmware on the phone or downgrade it ??

Also, can u paste the errors that you are seeing in tftp traces ?

I was trying to upgrade the SIP for 8.0(2) to 8.6...but happy to down/upgrade to any thing now! I'm pretty sureI've now got the CM code on it...but without a CM. I just want SIP.

It should be pulling POS and P000 files for SIP.

On the TFTP Server, create a OS79XX.txt file with the name of the firmware you want the phone to use. Do not mention the file extension in the name
