We recently uploaded the firmware for 7942/7962 using the .sgn file to a ccm 5.1.2 cluster. The upload was successful but the device is still not available for use even after restarting the TFTP service and rebooting the Publisher. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Hi Linda,
If the 7942 is not listed in the Device defaults or the Add/New phone model 7942
then you will need to add the device pack instead of just the 7942 Firmware. It looks
like the device pack below would add the 7942 in CUCM 5.1(2)
