7961 display message

while making call customer sees on display:

*AA* NOT SUITABLE

anyone know what this means?

can anyone point me to a doc explaining the various phone display messages?

Hi Rob,

This is a real guess but I'm wondering if this is a message indicating AAR in use. There is a system setting called;

AAR Network Congestion Rerouting Text

Where you can configure a Text to display on phones.
