Hello,
I have a 7961 phone with the following loads: SCCP41.9-0-3S.
I want to install the phone with a customer who has CME but with a lower loads file: SCCP41.8-3-2S.loads
Will this cause any issues?
Initially the phone didn't boot at all, so i connected it to my computer and gave it firmware with a TFTP client, then i hanged it on the company's network and it recieved a total newer firmware version.

You can run newer firmware loads from what the default is on a specific system, in fact that is a common practice to for example resolve phone bugs, etc.

Thanks Chris,
I did have to solve this differently. The phone didn't respond anymore after a factory reset. So i did a hard reset and plugged the phone to my computer and uploaded the required firmware files via TFTP.
So the phone is now just running the firmware that is present in the CME onsite.
Thanks for the clear answer
