7961 problem

Hi all, the problem is that a 7961 phone doesnt anwser the calls when you lift the handset, you have to press the "anwser" softbutton, is not the first time that this happens to me, you know if this is any kind of configuratios issue or is just a hardware problem?

Hi,

We have had a similar problem on some of our older 7941 & 7961 phones, and it was caused by the spring under the off-hook switch losing it's shape.

Just need to carefuly dismantle the phone and bend the spring slightly so it operates the switch properly again.
