79XX background images

Hi,

Running CCM 6.1 and am struggling getting the images on the phones. I have read various threads on netpro regarding this and am almost 100% sure i am following the correct procedure.

So what I have done is:

create List.xml and upload this to / and to Desktops/320x212x12

uploaded my *.png pics to / and to Desktops/320x212x12

restart tftp service

but am still not seeing the new images on the phones. what am i missing?

Hi Charl,

There are different sizes for different IP Phone models. Maybe this is the issue?

7970/7971/7975

320x212x12

7945/7965

320x212x16

7941/7961

320x196x4

it depends on the phone model because of the screen resolution, on which ones are you specifically interested?, the one you posted is for 7970s

I actually have it working for a 7970. Now i am trying to add more images for the 7970 and also add some for the 7961 and 7941. But it is all these extra images that I am having problems with.

told ya there was a doc as the ones i posted for each version. a simple cco search does the trick
