8945 Phone

I am attempting to add a new model to cucm but it isn't listed in the drop down menu of phones. Is there a way to update the phone list or somehow add  a template for the 8945 phone?

HI

1) You have to install qed file cmterm-894x-qed.9-1-2-11.cop.sgn

2) after that install firmware cmterm-894x-sccp.9-1-2-00.cop.sgn

You need  qed file to enable this device in the CUCM 8.5

Hi

You can download and install the latest 'device pack' for your version of CUCM to install new device types. CHeck the release notes on the download to see if the phone type you need is included - some have minimum CUCM versions so even the latest dev pack for that version may not include the type you need.

I figured it was something easy.

Current Version:

Cisco Unified CM Administration

System version: 8.5.1.11900-21

So the Device Pack 8.5.1 (14059-1) - should do the trick correct?
