9971 entry and exit tone not playing on WebEx conf. calls
We recently replaced our 7960 (SSCP) phones with 9971 (SIP) phones. We have noticed that when using WebEx we no longer hear the entry and exit tone for participants. Other participants within our organization still using 7960 phones are able to hear the entry and exit tone. We are using the same exact switch port that was used for the previous model phone and the same MGCP gateways for the PSTN calls. All we did is replace the one model phone for the other. If we put back the 7960 phones we can hear the entry and exit tones. I know this sounds weird but it only happens with the 9971 phones. We do not have any other model phones with SIP. We have opened TAC cases but still no resolution.
