we recently got new Cisco 9971 devices at work but have some small annoyances.
We usually have our phones configured with multiple lines (PA's picking up calls for their bosses).
Firstly, a default line is selected by pressing the button to the left of that line. so when a call is received on a default line, we can see the caller information in a nice green box.
But when a call is received on a secondary or tertiary line configured on the phone - we only see a small pop-up box which displays for only a few seconds with caller informations e.g. call for boss from xxx.
is it possible to make additional lines display the same as the default line, with a nice green box to show who the call is for and where it is coming from?
on the older 79xx devices calls for all lines were displayed in the same way and we'd like it to be the same.
You could maybe change the Incoming call toast timer on the phone to stay longer. I think if you change the setting - Use prime line for calls, i think you can get sort of a 79XX series behavior, not exact.
