9971 Screen sensitivity

Dears,

I have a strange problem with couple 9971 phones. They have speed dials configured and sometimes they automatically get dialed. The client has complained many times. Has anyone faced such issue? What could be a solution for this?

You say a couple of phones, so not the whole batch that was deployed then?

my first idea would be to swap out one of the faulty phones with a brand new one and see if the problem persists.

never seen this issue before, but more then likely hardware wise very much possible.

Well i did firmware upgrades but the problem persists. So we have decided to do an RMA for these phones. This is a hardware bug.
