about the short cut to dial number on Cisco IP phone 7970, 7960 or 7940

Just wonder if there is a way to have the cisco IP phone store the history of what previously has been dialed and enable us to dial it faster if we have to dial it again next time.

e.g. if I have previously dialled 62434801, 62435151 and 62435106. When I begin to dial 6243 it will show me all three of the above numbers but if I proceed to type 62435 it would now only show me 62435106 and 62435151.

Hi Rachel,

This should be built-in already :) Just try dialing with the Handset "on-hook" and these previously called numbers will show on screen and can be selected and dialed just like you are looking for. This doesn't work if the Handset is "off-hook".
