Acknowledge the Problemmessage from the Device behind the ATA

My Customer has a Problem with the Cisco Unified Communication Manager and ATA.

In the Customerplace are a installed UCM 6.1 and an ATA186. Behind the ATA is a Analoge Device.

Szenario:

The "Buildinginformationforwarddevice" are connected to an ATA for calling a Number when it gives some Problems. This Works fine. But wenn the call is estabished we want to acknowledge this Call, it will be fail.In the situation the call isn't confirm, the device behind the ATA will be dial the next Number.

The Problem is the acknowledge in this situation. The Confirmation is based on the Dialtones from the Phonebutton's. It's not work internal or extern.

What can be the Problem? Need the ATA a special image?

Hi Patrik,

I am Chao from ATA team.

Could you try to change SigTimer from default value 0x00000064 to 0x03c00064?

This change will disable ATA's PSTN-LIKE behavior. In your customer's setting, this feature may generate extra 2 ringings at far-end.
